Warrawong Sanctuary
The Warrawong Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary owned and
operated by visionary John Wamsley and his Earth Sanctuaries
staff. Australia's wildlife is distinctive and globally significant.
However, over the last 200 years, many mammals have become extinct
or endangered, with many species only surviving precariously
on offshore islands or in captivity. Many of them can only be
seen now in captivity.
John is trying to recreate the Australia that he grew up in
before the introduced feral cats and foxes destroyed it.
