Katherine Gorge

Nitmiluk, or Katherine Gorge
National Park, covers 2900 sq. km and is famed for its spectacular
series of sandstone cliffs lining the banks of the Katherine
River. You can walk along the top of the gorges and look down
or drift along the river in a canoe and look up. We chose the
less strenuous of the two. |
