Australian Photographer John Augusteyn

John Augusteyn is an Australian photographer who is also a Conservation Officer in Natural Resource Management for the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. John accompanied us on many Queensland adventures as an invaluable guide and friend. We are proud to share some of his remarkable images with you.

 Red Kangaroo Macropus rufus drinking from Lake Numalla Currawinya National Park Western Queensland
At dusk hundreds of red kangaroos descend form their daytime resting spots to take a drink from Lake Numalla a 2200 hectare body of fresh water situated within the spectacular Currawinya National Park in south western Queensland.
