Dainty green tree-frog Litoria gracilienta Iron Range National Park Cape York Queensland
Over 31 species of frogs, 16% of Australia's total number have been identified from the cape and many of these are also found in Papua New Guinea. During the wet season thousands of frogs literally take over Iron Range National Park including this beautiful dainty green tree-frog Litoria gracilenta. A fungus has just recently been isolated from many remote frog populations throughout the world and is place at risk some frog populations
