Lake Numalla Currawinya National Park South-Western Queensland. A former grazing property, Currawinya National Park with its lakes, rivers, and wetlands, offers visitors the opportunity to experience and discover some of western Queensland's most spectacular landscapes and amazing wildlife. Situated on the Paroo River, the park at times floods filling the large fresh water Lake Numalla. This water body and the nearby, slightly larger, saline Lake Wyara are among the most important inland waterbird habitats in Australia.
