Good vacation rentals are hard to come by so we thought we would tell you about the cottage owned by Hans-Peter and Ursula Marti of Switzerland, a delightful couple we met and spent some time with in St. Saturnin. They own this cottage which they plan to retire to in a few years.

Their small but well-appointed cottage is situated in the charming Provencal village of St. Saturnin d'Apt, approximately 600m from the center of the village. It is just 8k from Ville d'Apt which has one of the best markets anywhere in Provence. Roussillon, Gordes, Rustrel, Senaque and other scenic villages are within easy reach. Here you can hike, swim, play tennis, do windsurfing, ballooning, or take long bicycle rides into the sunset; or you can just relax and enjoy the spectacular vistas including dramatic fields of poppies in season.
