At Work in Western
Australia

A common scene on remote tracks in Western
Australia |

Finally reaching the border of Western
Australia was a thrill! |

Quarantine is taken seriously in Australia |

The 5-hour drive into the Bungle Bungles
was
well worth the effort |

The beautiful Bungle Bungles were not
far off at this point |

Doing what it does best
|

Help finally came in the form of a flatbed
from Broome. It towed the Landy the 130 kilometers back to Broome
with us in its towering and noisy cab |

We were towed the last 15 km to Beagle
Bay, an Aboriginal community just south of Cape Leveque where
we were able to call for help |

This was our 'home away from home' once
the Landy was trucked
ahead the 4000 kilometers to Perth. All of our 'stuff' fit into
this Britz
rental but it wasn't the Landy for sure. It allowed us to finish
our
journey, though, so that was good |
